A group of us went to the Asbury First Church and had a bit of fun, playing with visiting people and exhibiting the sport. We met a couple of potential club players, who would make good additions to our leagues. Thanks to those who took time to come out: Koen and Kalina Kron, Jack Mould (who was the designated photographer tonite) and Roger Haidvogel -- couldn't ask for more fun and nice people to hang out with.
We invited children from the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester for a lesson to the Rochester Sports Garden. The kids played well with us and have good hand eye skills and even have fairly good good basic forehand and backhand topspin drives. We look forward to more opportunities to work with kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester.

The Annual Open Table Tennis Tournament in Rochester organized by the Genesee Valley Table Tennis Club, sponsored by Joola USA and Salvatore's Old Fashioned Pizzaria, was fun-filled and exciting and proved to be a good testing ground for veterans who wanted a sterner examination of their seasoned game as well as for young and upcoming players in the region. The three-day tournament began with a fun-fest of age limited junior events and adult-junior doubles on Fri, Mar 27. This was followed by an intense Sat line up of events featuring enthusiastic young talent as well as the wiliest of veteran tournament players from the Upstate New York region, Pennsylvania Ohio and Ontario Canada. Sunday was match-filled with large round robin groups competing in a socially engaging as well as physically challenging test of the tournament credentials of new and experienced tournament players.
